The addition of jalapenos, crispy bacon and dried cranberries make these cheese balls a mouthwatering treat.
New year, new delicious recipes. Food blogger Landi Govender is sharing a tasty recipe for extra special cheese balls.
Landi and her family enjoy this recipe as a snack during movie night.
“The only problem is that these usually get swiped before the movie even begins,” says Landi.
Packed with bacon, jalapenos and cranberries, this tasty recipe is sure to be a hit.
Here’s how you can make Landi’s fully loaded cheese balls.
Jalapeno Popper Cheese Balls
Ingredients for cheeseballs:
1 cup cream cheese, room temperature
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated finely
1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Handful of finely chopped chives
Salt and pepper to taste
6 rashers finely chopped crispy bacon
1/4 cup finely chopped jalapenos
1/4 cup finely chopped dried cranberries
1. Mix in all the ingredients for the cheeseballs.
2. Roll into balls and refrigerate for a minimum of an hour to firm up.
3. Mix together all the ingredients for the coating and roll the cheeseballs in them until fully coated and serve immediately.
4. Top with whole tortilla chips instead of the usual toothpicks.

**Fully Loaded Cheeseballs** One of our Christmas Eve traditions is whipping up a batch of these delicious cheeseballs and watching The Polar Express, the only problem is that these usually get swiped before the movie even begins 😅. You can find the recipe for these amaze-balls (see what I did there?) Up on my blog, link in bio. https://thetockablog.wordpress.com/2019/01/01/fully-loaded-cheeseballs/ I whipped these up using @lancewoodcheese cream cheese, @kerrygoldsouthafrica cheddar, @montagudriedfruitandnuts dried cranberries.
